Parking Controls and Regulations

Green Bay doesnât allow parking on city streets between 3 and 5 a.m. and in snow emergencies. If anyone parks over the time limit, tickets are $4. Parking illegally (too close to a driveway or in a no-parking zone) costs $10. Spots marked "reserved," near a fire hydrant or in a no-standing or tow-away zone cost $20 and grabbing a handicapped spot will put a person out $50. Tickets can be paid at the Parking Utility Office, 333 Pine, or at one of several drop-off boxes located around Green Bay: 200 N. Broadway, 100 N. Jefferson St., 300 S. Adams St. (Police Department), the 300 block of Cherry Street or the Parking Utility box.

Allouez prohibits on-street parking between 2 and 6 a.m. from Nov. 1 to April 1. There are no parking meters on village streets.

Ashwaubenon marks streets which are designated truck routes with yellow and black street signs. Trucks over 10,000 pounds are not allowed on streets with green and white street signs, except for deliveries. A residential truck-parking ordinance prohibits parking except for emergencies or loading and unloading. Vehicles must be parked in driveways, not in yards. Motor homes are not so restricted. And no junk autos can be stored on the premises without proper screening. Between 2 to 6 a.m. from Nov. 1 to April 1, there is no on-street parking. For questions or more information, call 492-2995.

De Pere: No overnight parking is allowed on streets or public parking lots between 2 and 6 a.m. year-round. Metered parking available at 10 cents per hour. Temporary parking permits can be obtained by calling 3394050.

Howard: No on-street parking is allowed for trucks over one and one half tons. School buses may be parked in driveways, however. No parking is allowed in residential areas between 2 and 6 a.m. from Nov. 1 to Mar.31. Parking must be in driveways, not on lawns. Enforcement is by complaint.
