Pearl Street rail crossing under construction
The West Walnut Street railroad grade crossing at Pearl Street will be closed at 7 a.m. today for reconstruction work. The repair work is scheduled to be completed and the street reopened by June 10.

All motorists planning to access the River's Edge Apartments or Neville Museum during the railroad construction work must use Dousman Street. Access to these two destinations from Walnut Street will not be allowed during the work because vehicles won't be able to cross the tracks.

Most traffic already is using alternative routes because Walnut Street at the bridge is closed while a pedestrian pass is being constructed under the bridge.
