Educators in the Workplace program seeks applicants Partners in Education, a program of the Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce, is accepting applications for Educators in the Workplace, a summer enrichment program for teachers and counselors of grades 6-12 and technical college instructors. The program provides teachers and counselors with guided business and industry experiences. Participants attend a two-week summer enrichment experience with a local business as well as a summer session to expand their skills and understanding of local business issues, new technology and career placement opportunities for their students. Educators learn more about technical writing, curriculum development and how to prepare youth for lifework planning. Participants can earn three graduate credits from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay upon successful completion of the program. For more information, contact Kristin Phillip at 437-8704.
