Marquardt quits committee leadership
Sup. Mary Marquardt of Bellevue has resigned as chairman of the Brown County Board's Administration Committee. Election of a new chairman has been added to the committee's agenda for its meeting at 4 p.m. Thursday in Room 200 of the Northern Building.

Marquardt said she was resigning from the chairmanship, but not from the committee, because her role as chairman required her to also attend meetings of the board's Executive Committee, and she can't attend those meetings because of a scheduling conflict.
