Police evacuate apartment building, arrest man inside News-Chronicle An apartment building on the 300 block of Leeland Avenue was evacuated after midnight Thursday when a man with a shotgun would not let police inside his apartment. At about 12:45 a.m. Thursday, Green Bay Police were called to an apartment on the 1100 block of Nicolet Avenue after a man got into an argument with a female acquaintance. Police said in a news release that 38-year-old Steven Will of Appleton damaged items in the woman's home and took a shotgun. The man left for the Leland Street apartment and would not answer attempts by the police to contact him. Police saw him inside with the gun, the release said. The building was evacuated and the Green Bay Special Weapons and Tactics team entered the apartment and arrested Will. No one was injured in the incident.
