As announced two weeks ago, WNGB-AM 1400 - formerly WDUZ-AM - switched to a new format Monday as "Super Talk 1400."
The move puts WNGB, owned by Cumulus Broadcasting, in a three-way battle for the AM talk audience with Midwest Communications-owned WTAQ-AM 1360 and WNFL-AM 1440. Cumulus switched WDUZ programming to 107.5 FM Oct. 6 and said it would change the AM format two weeks later.
The station made the move at 9 a.m. with G. Gordon Liddy. Other syndicated talkers to appear on the station include Bill O'Reilly, Dave Ramsey, Jeff Rentz, Tom Martino, Lucianne Goldberg and Laura Ingram.
Greg Jensen, market manager for Cumulus Green Bay, said the station would have other long-form programming and "best-of" shows during the weekend, with the schedule including Green Bay Packers game coverage.
