No injuries in Humboldt blaze News-Chronicle A home and garage were destroyed in a fire Thursday afternoon in the town of Humboldt. No one was injured in the blaze. Firefighters were dispatched to a home at 1191 Phillips Road at about 1 p.m. for a garage fire, according to the Brown County Sheriff's Department. By the time New Franken, Denmark and Luxemburg fire departments arrived, the garage and home were engulfed in flames. The damage is estimated at $100,000. Eugene Streblow, the tenant, said he believes the fire was started by an electrical problem, the sheriff's department said.
