Local manufacturers honored by chamber News-Chronicle The Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce has honored five businesses with awards in its Manufacturing Awards of Distinction program for 2003. Award winners include: WS Packaging Group, Algoma, with two awards, the award of distinction for manufactures with more than 300 employees and the E-Commerce Award for use of the Internet. Fosber America Inc., for manufacturers with fewer than 100 employees. The company makes corrugating machinery. Tufco Technologies, honored for manufacturers between 100 and 299 employees. It provides a variety of printing and cleaning services and products. Hudson-Sharp Co., honored with the Exporter Award of Distinction for its sales of bag and pouch making equipment. Green Bay Converting, honored among businesses in operation for less than five years. The company converts a wide variety of paper and nonwoven products. The awards are sponsored by Wisconsin Business Bank and Virchow Krause & Co.
