To offer a wider selection of legal services to the public, the Green Bay law firm of Schober & Ulatowski has announced its intentions to merge with the seventh largest law firm in the state, Davis & Kuelthau, S.C.
The merger means Schober & Ulatowski's four-member firm will join with the six-attorney team of Davis & Kuelthau's Green Bay office.
Founded in 1981, the Green Bay firm of Schober & Ulatowski has built a reputation over the past two decades for catering to the needs of business clients by specializing in the areas of corporate law, insurance litigation, real estate law, creditor/debtor issues and estate planning, among others. The merger will allow the firm's four attorneys - Adrian T. Ulatowski, Thomas L. Schober, Thomas A. Rohan, and Timothy A. Cisler - to top off their portfolio of experience by adding labor and employment law to that list, two specialty areas practiced by Davis & Kuelthau's Green Bay team. The merger will take effect on January 1, 2004.
The announcement marks the second merger Davis & Kuelthau has undergone since October, when it merged with Niebler & Muren, S.C. of Brookfield to expand its presence in the Waukesha area.
Established in 1967, Davis & Kuelthau now employs a total of 205 legal professionals, including attorneys, paralegals and administrative support staff. The firm's offices are located in Milwaukee, Madison, Green Bay, Oshkosh, Sheboygan, Elm Grove and Brookfield.
