News-Chronicle

Danilo Artez is no longer under parole, but he has a lengthy criminal record that includes interstate transportation of minors for prostitution, kidnapping, false imprisonment, sexual intercourse with a child, solicitation of prostitutes, endangering safety and battery.

Artez, 68, will live in the area bounded by Military on the east, Ninth Steet on the south, Taylor Street on the west and Mason Street on the north. He is a black with balding black hair, is 6 feet tall and weighs 180 pounds.

Police said he lists himself as the executive director of a nonprofit organization called Friends of Homeless Women with Children.
