Attempted suicide in Green Bay News-Chronicle A 24-year-old male threatened to kill himself with a knife on Thursday while four children were with him inside a Green Bay home. Police were able to remove the children, ranging in age from 1 to 6, from the home, located in the 1900 block of Harold Street. Police negotiated with the suspect, who released one child, but had to force their way inside the building when the suspect refused further negotiations. Once inside the residence, police found the suspect holding a knife to his neck. They removed the other children from the residence before firing beanbag rounds at the suspect and arresting him. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
