An Algoma teen accused of selling marijuana to a confidential informant last summer has been sentenced in Kewaunee County Circuit Court to two years of initial incarceration in prison, followed by four years of extended supervision.
Sean P. McMahon, 19, was convicted on two counts of delivering marijuana and a felony bail jumping charge. His sentence, in which the prison time could be reduced if he successfully completes the Challenge Incarceration Program known as "boot camp," prohibits him from having any contact with his co-defendants or anyone involved in drug activity.
McMahon also was ordered to pay $462 in fines and court costs, plus $1,100 in restitution, along with attorney fees in an amount to be determined. He must undergo an alcohol and other drug abuse assessment. His driver's license has been suspended for six months.
Court records state McMahon was with a woman in the city of Algoma when he sold marijuana to an informant on two occasions during July 2003.
