Samantha Toigo, a senior at Notre Dame Academy, was named a Samsung American Legion Scholarship National finalist by the staff of Badger Girls State, held at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh in June.
Selection officials said Toigo was named a national finalist on the basis of academics, financial need, and school and community involvement.
