Candidate forum scheduled News-Chronicle November candidates for the Wisconsin Assembly have been invited to participate in a public forum at 7 p.m. Oct. 5, at the Brown County Central Library auditorium, 515 Pine St. The program will be sponsored by the Brown County Homeless and Housing Coalition and the Greater Green Bay League of Women Voters. It will be moderated by Julie Arneth, a member of the League of Women Voters. Candidates invited include: District 4, Tracey Vandeveer and Phil Montgomery; District 5, Tom Nelson and Becky Weber; District 88, Dan Aude and Judy Krawczyk and District 90, Helen Schaal and Karl Van Roy. The program has been scheduled to educate both the public and legislative candidates about issues relating to the homeless and those who are hungry in this community. The League of Women Voters also will register voters in the lobby of the auditorium before the program.
