Business briefs News-Chronicle KAUKAUNA Workwear maker's tour to visit area The Carhartt National S.W.A.T. Tour will appear at The Bottom Half in Kaukauna from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Oct. 1. The Carhartt Strategic Workwear Action Team mobile marketing tour consists of four vehicles that travel the country promoting Carhartt's line of workwear clothing and saying "thanks" to its target consumers. The tour travels a nationwide circuit stopping at events and venues which are places where people, typically, wear Carhartt clothing and, when the tour is in a particular city or locale, it also stops at construction sites, fire stations, concrete mixing yards or municipal Public Works yards. DE PERE Sportsman's Warehouse to open Oct. 29 The Sportsman's Warehouse will open its De Pere store at 1551 Lawrence Drive at 10 a.m. Oct. 29. The 61,000-square-foot store is the chain's second in Wisconsin and 27th overall in 14 states. The store will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 8:30 a.m. Nov. 6.
