Green Bay Preble High School will have its largest homecoming in years as the school marks its 50th anniversary in festivities today.
The events will include a homecoming parade for the first time in more than 20 years, according to school officials. The parade, to start after school, will run from Edison Middle School to Preble. During the day, a helicopter will be used to take a picture of all students and staff inside Gauthier Family Stadium, where the Hornets will host Sheboygan North tonight.
There will also be a hamburger and brat fry at the school during lunch hour and a tailgate party before tonight's game.
