Tyson Kreuscher, convicted of the 2002 murder of two Hobart-Lawrence police officers, has lost an appeal of his conviction.
Kreuscher's appeal, rejected by the state appeals court, focused on his attorney's argument that the trial should have been moved from Brown County because of pretrial publicity and that a mid-trial article about jurors in the case should have brought a mistrial ruling.
Kreuscher was sentenced to life imprisonment June 6, 2003, for the homicides of Stephanie Markins and Robert Etter. The two officers were parked along State 54 west of Green Bay when Kruescher, then 26, drove his pickup truck into their car.
The Brown County jury rejected an insanity plea by Kruescher.
