GREEN BAY
Chamber announces more award-winners

The Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce has announced more winners of awards to be presented at its annual meeting Oct. 22.

The Daniel Whitney Award for outstanding volunteerism goes to Glen Tilot, a coordinator of youth services programs at Brown County Human Services. He was chosen by a vote of Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce staff. Tilot's years of commitment to spreading volunteerism though Brown County, coupled with his personal dedication to volunteering for several programs, were cited in the award.

Three employers have been selected for the Families in Good Company award. The honor goes to employers in the greater Green Bay area who are committed to their personnel and who have implemented family friendly policies to assist in balancing the responsibility of work and family life. A panel of judges evaluated nominees, considering their merits against organizations of similar size. Winners are:

- Scott Bushkie, owner of CornerStone Business Services Inc., for his personal interaction with employee families and policies that backup this ethic.

- Wisconsin Public Service, for its commitment to integrity, safety, community and respect for its staff.

- Dennis Schmidt of Lindeman's Cleaning for offering comprehensive employee benefits and a liberal family leave policy. A history of volunteerism also bolstered Schmidt's bid .

GREEN BAY
